SmartCloud Connect Return on Investment (ROI), Use Efficiency, and User Setup Status Tools

In the latest SmartCloud Connect updates, the Enterprise customers can make use of the new SmartCloud Connect Admin panel feature, the ROI (Return on Investment) dashboard. The tools it includes provide useful insights on SmartCloud Connect’s overall effectiveness based on actual Add-In/Chrome Extension use data and other indicators specific for your company, as well as practical hints on improving its effectiveness further by enabling of all its functions for all end-users involved.

Factors for decision-making and improvement tips you can learn from the ROI dashboard:

  • SmartCloud Connect overall use statistics in your company
  • Figures reflecting work time and money saving contributed by SmartCloud Connect
  • The degree of completeness of SmartCloud Connect setup among the users
  • Potential scope of expansion of SmartCloud Connect use in your company


SmartCloud Connect Efficiency Dashboard (the ROI Study Admin panel tab)

Employee annual wage: customer-specified, your sales reps’ or other customers handling specialists’ average wage a year. This parameter is not shared or used anywhere outside of this ROI calculation.

Annual SmartCloud Connect subscription cost for the company: customer-specified parameter, the total amount how much you pay for SmartCloud Connect annually.

Once these parameters are set, the Results will indicate the net amount (calculated for all specialists involved) of money and time SmartCloud Connect saves your company daily, weekly, and annually, considering specified factor values and your org’s actual SmartCloud Connect use data.

The ROI indicator at the bottom of the page shows the actual SmartCloud Connect profitability ratio calculated sfor your org.

Records created in CRM/Records updated in CRM – indicate how many business records on average were created or updated by one sales rep daily via SmartCloud Connect and directly in the CRM.

Records created by SmartCloud Connect users – indicates the total number of records created by your sales reps via SmartCloud Connect and directly in CRM over the period you selected (the latest month or quarter), sorted per record category.

Provisioning status – this chart shows the ratios of CRM users in your org with regard to their SmartCloud Connect use status.


Clicking on numbers in the dashboard will bring you to the Users tab, so you can monitor and fix their status in SmartCloud Connect.

Sync status – this chart shows the ratios of SmartCloud Connect users in your org with regard to their SmartCloud Connect synchronization use status.
